Hashprice, miner revenue, payment methods and how difficulty moves the hashprice.
What 1 PH/s earns per day, what moves it, what the network's miners earned per UTC day and where the next retarget can take it, from BMM's own node.
Based on data up to 6 Oct 2026 (63 non-overlapping 14-day windows since the April 2024 halving): share of the variance of the 14-day change, split into difficulty, fee and price terms on a log scale.
Expected value of 1 PH/s held for a full UTC day, gross of pool fee. PPS is set by difficulty alone; FPPS adds the day's network transaction fees.
PPS is flat within an epoch because it pays the block subsidy only, which is fixed by difficulty. FPPS adds that day's network transaction fees, which change every day, so FPPS moves day to day inside the same epoch. PPS+ has the same expected value as FPPS (raw), so it is not drawn separately. Days with a retarget are split at the retarget block.
FPPS rate − 1 = network fees ÷ subsidies for the UTC day, all blocks included (raw). It is the only part of the day's expected value that is not set by difficulty.
Exceptional fee days: 21–26 Apr 2024, the Runes launch after the halving; 7–8 Jun 2024 (70.5% and 28.9%), an OKX UTXO consolidation. Both are real network fees and are shown; neither is a base-case fee level.
Each retarget changes PPS by 1 ÷ (1 + Δ) − 1 at a stroke, so the size of the next difficulty adjustment translates directly into the hashprice outlook.
